Yeah... however, this was much better than walking up to the counter at a small Christian bookstore with a stack of books on 'recovering from pornography', and 'sex addiction' — I looked at the nice old lady behind the counter and said, 'Research?' Anyway, back to the book review. Don't let the cover scare you, this book has a little something for everyone.

Kerri's column Tales From a Hollywood God Girl wins Best Column at the annual Fellowship of Christian Newspapers (FCN) banquet in Portland. FCN is an international association for Christian newspaper publishing, a sub-group of the Evangelical Press Association. FCN has over 40 member publications across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 1 million readers.

Russ Jones, president of the FCN and editor of The Christian Chronicles has published Kerri's column for a year now.

Hello there my friends, family and colleagues, I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you how truly thrilled I am about this 5 yr. journey. I wrote this as a labor of love (mostly ranting and raving at my computer at 1:00am after bad dates). But Ibelieve in the message that "single is not a terminal disease" and laughter really is the best medicine in any situation. I would like to ask you personally for your support of this book to get the word out and make it a successful publication.

There are simple ways you can help:

  1. Go to any bookstore websites: www.amazon.com , www.barnesandnoble.com, www.christianbooks.com , www.overstock.com , www.lifewaystores.com , www.e316.com , www.gospelcom.net and write a review.
  2. When you are in a bookstore, Christian or secular, ask the staff if they carry the book. If not ask if they will order it. You don't have to buy it. Just asking about the title will let the store manager know it's a book worth carrying.
  3. Forward this email to others and tell them this book is worth supporting. It's a single's dating book written by someone "single and who really was in the trenches out there." It's a great gift for men or woman from teens on up.
