"I looked kind of weird walking up to the counter, at Barnes and Noble, with a pink book titled,
'If I am waiting on God then what am I doing in a Christian chatroom?' Yeah... however, this was much better
than walking up to the counter at a small Christian bookstore with a stack of books on 'recovering from
pornography', and 'sex addiction' — I looked at the nice old lady behind the counter and said, 'Research?'
Anyway, back to the book review. Don't let the cover scare you, this book has a little something for everyone.
Guys — Have you ever wanted to delve into the mind of a female, but have never had the
opportunity to snag their journal, or maybe you just couldn't construct a solid plan on getting it back to them.
Oh come on, don't act like it's just me. This is your chance to get the low-down on how girls think. This may
even help you save yourself from some embarrassing moments.
Girls — Get ready for the emotional rollercoaster we call dating — in a book. You girls out
there are going to dig Kerri's pull-no-punches-laugh-at-myself brand of storytelling. Her experiences are sure
to mirror some of your own.
This book is a good read, with some solid thoughts on God, dating, and junk food. Kerri gives
an honest (not to mention- hilarious) portrait of her life's events without putting on the filter-o-Christianity.
The story follows Kerri's search for 'Mr. Right' but, even more so, it chronicles a spiritual journey and a
growing relationship with her Savior — Who, despite all of her ups and downs, was always there to meet her where
she was."
Warzone Ministries
"Keri is one of the funniest women
I know. Her ability to take life's challenges and turn them
into great stories is extraordinary. I would hire her for
any event and be proud to have her making my guests laugh."
Kathleen Schulweis, Phd

is now available online and has been internationally released
by top pubilsher Zondervan!
"Kerri captures the single life perfectly. As I read each chapter, I remembered those feelings like it was yesterday. And just when I would get all teary-eyed, Kerri did a 360 turn and had my belly aching from laughing so hard."
— Sherri Shepherd, comedian, actress and co-host of ABC's "The View".
"Kerri's dating life needs to be a sitcom! Not only is this book laugh out loud funny, it's sincere, authentic and heartwarming. As I giggled at all the '80's references I also found myself thinking about my own relationship with God questioning if He's the love of my life. Whether you're in the midst of dating or have been married for years, you're gonna love this super fun read!!"
— Candace Cameron Bure, actress (Full House), speaker and columnist.

Kerri was sick of reading books about nice women who got married
after puberty and then tried to give advice. "I didn't meet my
husband till I was 17 and I'm so glad I waited." Well Kerri wanted
to write a book from the perspective of a woman in the trenches...
out there trying to meet "Mr Right". Some of her pro-active tactics
and comical musings on the dating life of a modern LA girl will
make you laugh out loud. This book is a touching, hysterical,
heartbreaking and a sweet journey in one girl's search for love.
Hello there my friends, family and colleagues,
I'd like to take this opportunity to tell you how truly thrilled
I am
about this 5 yr. journey. I wrote this as a labor of love (mostly
ranting and raving at my computer at 1:00am after bad dates).
But Ibelieve in the message that "single is not a terminal disease" and
laughter really is the best medicine in any situation. I would
like to
ask you personally for your support of this book to get the word
out
and make it a successful publication.
When you are in a bookstore, Christian
or secular, ask the staff if
they carry the book. If not ask if they will order
it. You don't have
to buy it. Just asking about the title will let the
store manager know
it's a book worth carrying.
Forward this email to others
and tell them this book is worth supporting. It's a single's
dating book written by someone "single
and
who really was in the trenches out there." It's
a great gift for men or
woman from teens on up.
If you know of any single's group, college
or youth group or organization that might want
to get a free copy please just let us know
and we'll forward them a book and press kit.
Thank you everyone for all of your unending encouragement
and prayers. I can't wait to see what God does
with this book and I do appreciate your help.
All book proceeds will go to support "starving comedians" in
LA fund. God bless and please feel free to contact us with any
ideas or thoughts.
